eMarketing Company Names Sean Ryan VP Of Engineering and Raymond Polanco Director of Support and Services, to Further Company’s Integration of Core Technologies and Brands

Halsey Corporation (OTCBB:JLHY), a leading provider of marketing technology solutions, today announced two additions to its management team – Sean Ryan as vice president of engineering and Raymond Polanco as director of support and services. Each will provide leadership across all J.L. Halsey brands, which include Lyris List Manager, EmailLabs, ClickTracks, Sparklist, Hot Banana and EmailAdvisor.

Sean Ryan will oversee IT, development and support. He is an experienced chief technology officer (CTO) with a background that encompasses Fortune 500 companies and fast-growth, early-stage startups. He brings to J.L. Halsey expertise in technology, software development and operations, along with executive-level experience building a company’s core software products, setting strategic direction, designing and managing IT infrastructure and creating highly effective teams to support operations.

Previously Ryan served as COO for BookSurge, LLC, CTO for ExactTarget, LLC, senior director of software engineering for Digital River, Inc., and senior manager for Accenture. He holds a bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurial sciences from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

Raymond Polanco will manage support and services. He has 20 years of experience developing and managing services and support for a variety of organizations, helping companies maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. He specializes in successfully bringing teams from different companies together to build world-class customer support departments.

Most recently Polanco was Director of Technical Services and Support for Pinnacle Systems/Avid Technology, where he oversaw development and management of all service offerings for Pinnacle’s Worldwide Service and Support Organization. Previously he directed services and support, and held other management positions, for Zhone Technologies, Ascend Communications/Lucent Technologies, Madge Networks, Inc., National Data Communications, Inc., and IBM.
